Okay, crew... here's a REALLY strange one... a buddy of mine just nabbed this at a swap-meet... but trust me, its wacky!

Its shaped like the early 70's Fender Telecaster basses (the ones that were essentially original-style '51 P-Basses with a big block pickup instead of that little single-coil and a tele-style control panel)...

its got TWO chrome ashtrays (one over the pickup, one over the bridge)...

Pickups are both Fender Telecaster (guitar) neck-position "lipstick" style pickups... yeah, on a bass...

Its GOT to be a Sears or Montgomery Wards re-brand, judging by the model number... 319.1494 0100

Anyone have any ideas on this one?

I actually used to own a "National"-branded Telecaster... but man was this thing wacky!... TWO lipsticks... such a weird guitar... I'm assuming that this bass is maybe its first cousin hahaha...
