Anybody knows Univox Guitars?

Hi all,

I just found a Univox guitar in the garbage and I would like to identify which model it is. 3 keys are broken, a switch and a knob is missing, and the neck needs to be adjusted. Do you think it is worth it to fix it? Here is a link to a picture :

Hi Martin,

You've got a Univox Deluxe. Univox offered 3 Les Paul copies, the Gimme, the Deluxe and the Custom. The Deluxe is generally considered a mid level Les Paul copy. They were made by Aria and Company.

The problems you mention are fairly trivial if that is all that's wrong with the guitar. If you could do the work yourself I'd say it's definately worth fixing, if you must pay to have it fixed it gets a little iffy. On eBay you could expect to sell it for between $175 - $275 once you get it back in good working order. sb
