Firefox Mini guitars?

I am not sure, if it is the right cathegory to ask for Firefox?
I recently bought a Mini Violin Guitar by Firefox and would like to know more about the instrument and the brand/company.

Any ideas?Is it Japanese? Or Korean?



I remember they were building Mini-Strats (with normal size hardware) in the early 80s, Mini-Teles and Les Pauls, but I can't find any other hints in the net except a strat pic. (Millions of Firefox browser results ... )

Hi Frank.

All I've been able to turn up is out of Bacon and Day's "The Guru's Guitar Guide". B&D state that the guitars were built in Japan in the late 1980's, were medium quality, and were produced in both full and mini versions.

This is all the information I have at the moment.

It would be fun to tune that mini Hofner up to A or so, then play it in a band with a violin shaped guitar and a (preferably Hofner) violin-shaped bass.
