Any Idea About Make, Model, Year?

I assume the guitar is Japanese made. Any idea about the make, model, year? There's no label or any other identifying info. It's possible there once one was a label on the head, but came off. The head (not pictured) is a standard strat head with the truss showing. One person I showed it to thought it was a Crestwood based on the knobs. Let me know if there's any more info I can provide.

Hey Tony.

Based on the hardware and build characteristics I would say your guitar is a Japanese built Kawai. Those pickups were used extensively on Kawai instruments from 1965 to 1968 or so. Based on the trem unit, I would say your guitar was built around 1967-68. Who knows what brand name may have been applied to your guitar since that was done by the distributor. Same holds true for model, Kawai produced more models during this period than anyone has been able to count. I see nothing special about the knobs on your instrument, they are standard Japanese issue and appeared on many models across many years. They certainly could have appeared on guitars branded Crestwood, but they also appeared on guitars with 100 different brand names.
