Great score Geezer
The neck inlays are a style used by Kawai in 1968 so my guess is that it came out of the Kawai factory. After Teisco and Kawai merged in 1967 it becomes difficult to attribute specific guitars to specific factories. But remember, after the merger, Kawai got the new factory Teisco had just renovated and Teisco got the old outdated Kawai factory. Apparently acquiring the new factory was Kawai's motivation for acquiring Teisco in the first place.
The inlays, pickups and switching system all look Kawai to me. I don't think I have ever seen that style of tremolo on a Kawai before, but there is a lot I haven't seen. I would guess the green sparkle paint is a refinish. You'll be able to tell when you remove the pick guard to spray the pots and switches.
