Has anybody heard of seen or have any information on Winston Guitars? All I know is they're Japanese and they have a 1968 catologue.
Anything else would be Appreciated.

Hi Dan,
The Winston Guitars in the 1968 catalog were made by Kawai. Winston along with Kent were imported by Buegeleisen & Jacobson. One of the major distributors was Grossman Music Corporation of Chicago. sb

This might be late but I recall a small solid body, one pickup electric guitar that had the Winston name on the headstock. I'm sure that guitar was cannabalized for parts and became firewood. What makes me remember that guitar was that it had a cool trapeze tailpiece and a set neck. I had never seen a set neck on a cheap looking guitar before that.
