Hi all,

I searched around and have not seen any guidelines on what charateristics identify a guitar as originating from the Matsumoku factory. I own two MIJ guitars that I would like to know if they are Matsumoku. One is an Aria Flying V and the other is a Cortez SG-style 6/12 double neck. Both have the same cherry finish, the "Steel Adjustable Neck" plates, and have the same body and neck(s) construction. The bodies are three piece (two slabs with a thin ply between) and the necks are five piece (three thick pieces separated by thin plys). I have seen identical guitars but branded just the opposite (Cortez FV, Aria Doubleneck). If not Matsumoku, then who?

Thanks, Dave
