The hunt is finally over.

After 20+ years of looking, I got one! Usually they pop up and either my funding is low (when is it not?), the price is too high, I lose the bid, or I just miss it (too many times)... but not this time!

I finally have a 1970s Barney Kessel on the way. She is actually a Ventura V-4100. With any luck she will be here Thursday.



So far it looks like new tuners (she has older, but working Gutohs), switch tip, pickguard support, and possibly a possibly new bridge (it has nylon saddles). I am considering pulling everything and going all new gold plated parts on the old shell. But I am getting WAY ahead of myself. I just want her to get here in one piece.
