Late 60's? Saturn.

Got this through asking a few questions at a flea market.

For something that's hung in a shed for at least 15 yrs, with strings that are probably 20 yrs. old and a few other problems such as a volume pot that only seems to work on full, it sounds pretty good. I think it was made by Tiesco/Kawai, branded Saturn and sold in Eatons in the late 60's.

Yeah, definitely Kawai. Based on the tailpiece and the pickups, I would say 1968.

[Electraglide]

Three wire pick ups with E stamped on one side. That was on the low E side when I took them out. B 50K stamped on the vol. pot, B 100k stamped on the tone pot. Green Yamato 50w V .02 tone cap. At some time someone did a little rewiring perhaps, it's a mess. Sliders need cleaning. I have a Tiesco ET-200 wiring diagram that's close so when everything is cleaned I'll try that. I think the Red wire is hot, the Black and Blue wires are ground. Should be fun.
