I have what looks like a Teisco electric guitar.I understand these were made in Japan. However mine has a little gold sticker on the back that says made in Korea.Another sticker had WO or WD 20385 and another 559-14051.Can someone tell me anything about it? Is it collectable, the age anything. Thanks

Hi cleanear.

With those stickers your guitar is definitely a Korean build. You can send your pictures to steve@vintaxe.com and I'll add them to your post.

steve,I'm new to this online stuff.I can't get a picture to load.I bought this guitar for my son about 18 years ago used. It's been in a closet and I am cleaning out so I listed it on Craigs list for $35. There is one just like it on ebay for $149 it's listed as a Teisco made in Japan. If my guitar is worth more than $35 i would like to know. Would the fact it's a Korean make hurt or help?
Thanks.

I think any functional guitar that is a minimum of 18 years old is worth at least $100. Your guitar will sell fast at $35.

Send me a link to the eBay auction you are referring to and I can probably tell you about the guitar in the auction.

You might want to recheck the email address where you sent the picture. It's been over 2 hours and no picture has arrived.
