8) TOKAI-TALBO here! the all alminum electric guitar and
the world's first mass production by tokai in 1983 .....
the story tells that tokai went bankrupt in 1985 because of
this model talbo. very unpopular now and then and costly to
produce. yet very sure design and excellent electric guitar itself.
tokai reintroduced talbo in 1997 and now its the little legend of
tokai in the modern years. TALBO means TURBO?
the hot-rod turbo charged all alminum electric machine from tokai!
if you wanna play cooler than anyone then you might need to
turbo charge yourself with TALBO! its cool like steel hot like turbo!

has a great relationship with tokai lately and they sell
many quality new tokai guitars! if you wanna try to buy
your tokai directly from japan then kurosawa is a good way!
there are many other tokai dealers in japan ofcourse.
good tokai luck!

8) TOKAI made FENDER JAPAN from 1996 ~ 2009 and during this time
" Crafted in Japan " above the serial# at the neck back end instead of
" MADE IN JAPAN " & " Made in Japan ". FUJIGEN made them from
1982 ~ 1996 and DYNA GAKKI since 1996 ~ 2009 ~ current.
TOKAI also makes MOSRITE JAPAN.

8) see this 1984 TST-60 in candy apple red thats on ebay now.
it has a very cool figured maple neck even its only TST60 grade
which was about $600 new in 1984 in japan. it has the poly coat
instead of the lacquer coat of TST-80/100 grade. good ole strat!

8) its only a tokai but their motto is " quality before quantity ".
they have made the les paul replicas that love-rocks the world!
gibson is the one but some world cant affford gibson so tokai goes.
its 2014 now and tokai is coming back to be reborn old again.
their talbo is maybe a turbo charger but the love-rocks aint.
when only a gibson is good enough cant be for all the world
there are epiphones for when good enough isnt good enough.
but there is tokai somewhere which is about quality before quantity.
since 1947~ TOKAI keeps contributing for the world where
gibson cant be good enough because of $. tokai does it, no doubt!

:D wanna hear more about your tokai experiences here
so leave yours please. thanks!
tokai was once very big in the japanese guitar market but
they became very minor after 1985~ fender japan & epiphone
just left no market for tokai in japan basically around that time.
been 20 years since, around 2005, tokai seemed to come back
strong again and 30 years since now in 2014 they are really back.
ofcourse not as big as before but again sure and still excellent.
i am personally very glad to see tokai is back again now and
this wasnt much expected before because of the market situation.
tokai is printing their beautiful catalogs again lately. its a very nice
catalogs like the good old days. makes you think, they still do ....
