I have a Aria Daimond I belive around 1970. Big jazzbox I have no information avaiable, even from the Aria website and such.
Model # H-F1362G. All I can make is the G is for the gold trim. It looks like a "gibson lawsuit" ES175. Any help out there?

Hey kend410,

I think we've got to start by figuring out exactly what you have. Your first step is probably subscribing to the catalogs and seeing if you guitar matches either of the ES175 copies pictured in the 1971 Aria catalog I have posted. If money is tight, I suggest you post a picture so we can have a look. sb

I've seen some catalogs. The gold trim is on Blonde only and chrome on Tobacco Sunburst. The "f" holes do not appearto be bound like the one I have. The neck and headstock are bound as well
The tail piece is not the wire frame as in the catalogs. It is gold with a rosewood insert. Head stock is Aria Diamond with a 1/4" diameter diamond.
Probably Cubic Zarconia. Looks impressive though.

I have the images. How about a crash course in posting them.

Thanks

Go to Forum Help and Guidelines and you'll find directions for posting pictures. If you have problems, let me know and we'll go from there. Good luck, sb

I saw an Aria on the Aria forum on a post from 2004. It is not an Aria Diamond but has the same model number H-H1362G The Headstock is not bound Like the Aria Diamond but the rest is exaclty the same. No one pin pointed an exact year but 70's as I fugured. The Selector switch is hosed. I bought another at GC but finding a Gold one has been difficult. I don't know what the pickups are but the crank.

Any further info would be appreciated or value. It plays sweet. A definite keeper
