Help in finding first guitar

my 1st guitar was a cheap solid body C1959 with single cutaway and 2 P/UPs with STAR on the head, probably made by guya. Could somebody please help me track down a photo. thanks in advance, paul

Did you check my Guyatone catalogs in the Catalog Library? I have a 1950s Guyatone brochure with a solidbody on the cover. You can see the cover here:



Are we in the right family? These late 50's Guyatone solidbodies looked a lot alike regardless of the particular model.

I call it an Antoria because of the Hank Marvin/Johnny Byrne connection, but maybe I should start referring to it as a Guyatone...

It's unbranded, so who knows.
