1993 Fender Vibro King - Value...? Thoughts?

Hey,

I came across a good price (I think) on a Fender Vibro King, and I was wondering if anybody has any thoughts on what these are worth these days. My local music store has a used one on the floor for $2950, and I'm very tempted to follow through. A lot of people on Harmony Central claim to have paid a lot less for theirs, however I don't see anything indicating that this is representative of the current market.

Also... anyone have any experiences with the reliability of this thing...? Past/present owners?

Never owned one, but I've seen them used for way less. Here's two current examples.







Prices for a new one are right around $3500. I think $2950 for one that's 17 years old is way overpriced.
