Just bought this...think it's a Teisco?

I need some help. I came across this website after searching all over the interwebs for a guitar that looks like the one I just picked up. It has the features of a Teisco, but no name left on the headstock except a few letters that are worn. Can anyone help me out identifying this guitar and the year?

By the way, great site and forum. I have been doing a lot of reading!

I can tell you it has the same pickups as the one I just posted:

and tuners looks the same. Mine (ags brand on headstock) has been ID'd as Kawai...

After looking at more pictures of other Japanese guitars, and reading more....I am even more confused. I have yet to find a guitar that looks like this, but there is nothing really unusual about it.
