1971 6 string acoustic Dorado

I was wondering if you can give an isea how this guiter is worth. It is called the Country Rose, Model #5965 Grand Concert. The Serial # is 01241.

I'm afraid the news is not good concerning the value of Dorado acoustic guitars. The Dorado brand name was used briefly by Gretsch in the early 1970's on a line of Japanese import guitars. Although I think they are considered decent guitars, they are much like all the other Japanese acoustic imports of that era and are not particularly valued by collectors.

I've checked two price guides and they both agree value will fall somewhere between $125 - $225 depending on the specific model. I think the 5965 would be considered a mid quality instrument in the Dorado line. sb
