Need help identifying this unit

hi i acquired this old amp. i am asking the experts here to help me identify it. i have done extensive online research and cannot find one like it or any info on it at all. the only thing i know about it is that i am told it is solid state. it works, well when i plug it in, the light comes on. there is no name other than the serial number that you can see in the pictures. i am not musically or electronically inclined at all so that is all i can tell you about it. i did find one that is very similar on ebay and i asked the seller what info he had and he had none. any info such as brand/manufacturer, year, use, type etc would be greatly appreciated. in the pictures, the black one is the one i have and the burgundy one is the one that i found on ebay that is similar. thanks in advance!

i cant believe that with all the people on this site, no one has any info on this amp? surely someone knows something!
