What guitar is this?

It has MIJ at the back of the headstock, and is a neck thru.
No numbers or dates on headstock.

One of these turned up on the Matsumoku. org forum a while back - I'm pretty sure it was positively ID'd as a Suzuki.

any idea what it is worth or that sort of thing? I chose it over other guitars because of its playability, but it would still be nice to know more about it

Interesting Bassassin. Do you remember whether they attributed the Suzuki to Matsumoku?

Here is a 1980 Aria Pro II YS-400. The body styles look pretty similar to me although there are obvious differences in the electronics, bridge hardware and headstock.

Do you think Suzuki was buying their solid bodies from Aria?

Hey, that Grand Suzuki looks just like my Crestline. It's got the same three toggle switches and same knobs. I had been wondering if mine was a Matsumoku guitar, but I can't find anything to ID it as such. Check out my "Crestline Guitar" post for pics.....
