early '40's ??, Student archtop

I have an archtop acoustic with F holes. The only identification it has , is the word Student across the headstock. It is a yellowish color wood. I can get a pic up if noone happens to know off hand what it is.

oh, and on a side note, I hade the black and green guitar on the vintageaxe header. Heh, my brother acquired it somewhere years ago, and we never had a clue what it was, we just knew it sounded awful, lol.
