Wakarusa Festival - June 2009.
AKA a big, 4 day long, 5 stage, Hippie fest in a beautiful place in the middle of nowhere in Arkansas...
Buckethead was there... STS9, Black Crowes, Les Claypool, etc...
I've never had a "real" "artist" wristband before... not many perks but they were good enough...plenty of free beer.
It was the last show I played with a band called "David Hasselhoff on Acid" before the drummer and I quit together. We had the perfect time slot, 9pm on a Saturday night with no major bands on other stages to compete with...
I played the best show of my life to hundreds of people packed together and they were LOVING it. Nothing really can touch that feeling experience wise...we were basically opening for Sound Tribe Sector 9, just not on the main stage.
I have the audio now from the soundboard.. if I could just get my hands on the video...We had 2 cameras and I have seen NONE of the footage yet.
