1967 Lotus Sunburst??

I've had this guitar for several years now and just recently started to look for information on it. I can't find anything even remotely like it. The Model # is LW-67 and it says it was made in Japan. From what I have read about Lotus they're supposed to be begginner models and not that great, but this guitar plays and sounds very nice.
Anybody know anything about it?

Can't tell you much,but Lotus brand guitars are not that uncommon,especially the electrics. They were mostly copies of Fenders and Gibsons. Found some info that in the late 1970s - 1990s manufacturing went from Japan to Korea, most of their guitars being made at the Samick factory and some at the Cort factory. Yours is a copy of the Gibson Hummingbird. A lot of Asian companies made copies of it.
