Did you actually find one for sale? The only one I've ever seen for sale was on eBay a couple years ago.Looked just like the one Charlie has in the picture. The seller was asking something like $3000 for it and it didn't sell. It's such a rarely seen item for sale,I don't know how you could determine what a set market price would be. Seems like it's a case of negotiating between what the seller thinks it's worth and what you're willing to pay. Great idea. I've seen some other peoples home made versions. Not really that hard to make one. I'd like to do one myself sometime!

Well, i just ended up getting it. A friend of mine thought it was goofy and didn't hold much value so he traded me an x series washburn 24 fret and a 15 watt practice amp for it.

Not a very original idea anymore, Dick Dale had one of those way back when. There was also a company called "Royal Flush" that tried to market toilet seat guitars in the 80's. Still, a cool find.

I made one myself for a punk band about 15 years ago. It was mostly just a stage prop so it's just a plank with a piece of wood for a bridge, but it was playable.
