I put one of these on a Stratotone (onto which I also fitted a Bigsby)... its just okay. Like I said, a Bigsby and a rosewood bridge don't work too well together. MUCH better with a metal bridge.

it isn't my main guitar. I will definintly play it though. There is nothing better than the sound of an old guitar.

One more thing. How do you get the bridge on when there are no holes drilled out?

Old school. The strings hold it in place.

Once you find the correct spot to place the bridge, its best to mark the space with a pencil. If you use the vibrato a lot, the bridge will tend to shift.

Of the three I have in my shop now, one was glued in place, one was TAPED in place ( ) , and one meathead used two tiny wood screws on the wings of the bridge base to secure it.

Haha thanks mine has a dark spot where it was so it shouldent be hard. If look at the pic you can see it, is the bridge as long as that dark spot?

Looks like its the same size as the dark spots on the ones I'm working on... can't tell for sure. I've never found a repro bridge that fit it perfectly, though.
