Any info on Norma guitars?

This was my first electric guitar (purchased around 1972) and I'm having a hard time finding any info on it. Does anyone know what model it was and when it was manufactured?

I've heard of Norma a few times in the past. If you do a search of this forum you'll see a few references to Normas. That's a cool looking guitar you have. Those look like Teisco gold foil pickups, so thats's good news.

Looks like a EG-405-2. I saw a very similar guitar in the 1972 catalog at notecannons website. The pick guard is decorated a bit different and theirs has the tremelo bar. I would guess your was made within a few years of the one pictured.

These were made by a little know, yet decent quality factory called Tombo in Japan.
this was not their best model, but the two pickup is an upgrade. They made some top notch stuff at their high end

oh yes, i forgot to mention; they often sourced hardware and pickups from Teisco, and it is thought that they even collaborated on a few rare projects
