hondo strat weird headstock

Has anyone seen a headstock like this on one of these, just picked this up for $50 can't believe how good this is! You can find photos at photobucket log into kiwigat. Here's some pixs:

Hi guys from the bottom of the world! Had the neck off today and found a serial number ....(6c-23-021) there's a photo. Hopefully this will help with dating and model cheers guys any help is much appreciated

Hi kiwigat.

I can't find an exact match for your guitar so I'm not sure of the model number. However, the logo and headstock shape are consistent with Hondo Strats made in 1992.

Hi, thanks for that much appreciated

,have done a bit more digging have had a look inside, body is solid ash and is quite heavy, has the hondo emblem neck plate, have seen a pic in one of your previous forums with this headstock on a hondo fame series 757 tele(good bang for your Buck tele ) here's a pic of mine, seems they played around with headstocks guite alot haha cheers guys!
