The early Antoria branded LG-50's that Hank Marvin and Johhny Byrne bought in the late 1950's had a zero fret and the dot inlays on the fretboard.  I think the rectangle fret markers (SUPER thin, by the way - they basically wear off) came later.
My guess is that it's later, but who knows?  I've got an early one with the zero fret and the dot inlays and it definitely feels older and more "primitive" than the one I used to own with the rectangle inlays and no zero fret.
It could still be a "one-off" at any rate.  I've never seen that pickup on one of these.  
All just conjecture, I guess...
