Unknown Dixon

I aquired this guitar from a trade and i was told that it was a Dixon from the 80's

This is the only picture i have of it in it original condition. Sence i got it i have made a new pickgaurd for it. It now looks like this


I was just wondering if anyone out there had any information about this guitar. Thanks

Hi Dixonrocker,

I can't tell whether your guitar is a Dixion or not from the photo. I checked the 1985 Dixion Catalog I have posted on the site and I can tell you there is no guitar like yours pictured. All this means is that your instrument is not a 1985. From the looks of the pickups it is probably later than 1985 but I really don't have a positive ID. sb
