CHASER EQ-300CS Acoustic Electric

I have a CHASER EQ-300CS 6 string acoustic electric guitar made circa 1983. It is marked inside 'Hand crafted - made in Japan', has active volume & tone control sliders on the upper bout.

Can anyone tell me anything about this instrument or the maker. Can anyone put a value on it ?

Hi Steve,

I just ran across some Chaser literature and this is what I can tell you. Chaser was distributed by Nagoya of Japan. Here is the label that appears on the folder containing the Chaser literature:



The primary guitar manufacturer in Nagoya is Kasuga so I think chances are good your guitar was built by Kasuga. sb
