Help on identifying Ibanez guitar

Hey man, that a model 1502, circa 1964. One of the first guitars made at the Tama mill.

Someone, in another forum, confirmed it might be a 1502 with another pickguard. I may forget the initial idea of recovering it...

i obtained this from a friend who owed me money and the only thing he knew was its from 1969. i would appreciate any help in discovering the model.

Hey Skullcandy, your bass is also an early Ibanez guitar. Both of these guitars came from the same factory in Japan. Ibanez was the primary brand name of the Japanese company called Hoshino Gakki. They produced their own guitars for a few years in their own factory, called the Tama plant. Same place as the drums!
