Teisco Pickups Comparison

I've asked this question various places before and don't recall getting an answer. Perhaps someone here knows. The Teisco gold foil pickups are considered really great in some circles and go for decent money on eBay. What are the opinions of the non-gold pickups like this one:

Big sound difference? Mostly cosmetic difference?

I have a pickup similar to the one Riotonsunset shows above, except it has slightly squarer corners. It's definitely not the same pickup as this:




While they are both single coils, the magnets are significantly different and the flatter one has three wires. I've taken them apart, so I can answer any questions anyone has. Both pickups would sound interesting I would imaging. Those on my Jedson (with the pickup shown above) has a really sweet sound.

hey i have the exact same tiesco pickups with the extra white ground wire that belong to my DECCA. do u know where i can find wiring schematics for this kind of set-up, as u can see the only electronics on this guitar are the pick-ups, so i got a create a whole knew set-up. thanks
