Gretsch Guitar " Hollow body" 1935????????

I just bought a old Gretsch hollow body Guitar. It has the numbers 6235 or G-235 Above the edge of the tuner keys. Can someone shed some light on this guitar. Thank you.

try this web site http://www.rocknrollvintage.com/informa ... umbers.htm if the 6xxx is the serial number according to this site it is a 1953...........great year. should you grow tired of the axe I would gladly take it.......you know just kind of store it for you.
