I recently ebayed a cheap 7-string with "chester" on its head.
(I'll make some pics when it arrives)
tried to google it, but no information about this brand so far.
Is there anyone knowing more?

Hi Frank.

From what I gather Chester is a German distributor of guitars built in Korea.

Here is a Harmony Central review in Deutsch of a Chester Stratocaster. You will likely make more sense of it than I can. Hope it helps:

it is a Swiss shop that is selling it. some low cost and middle range guitars, lots of other stuff. Not much information there ...
