New guy needs some help IDing Japanese Hollow body

A favorite past time of mine is making the yard sale rounds on Friday and Saturdays mornings. I'm always on the lookout for guitars and antiques - while my wife looks for jewelry (but thats a whole different discussion). Its been a good season so far with some good buys - nothing retirement-worthy but good. I bought a Japanese hollow body last week and can't find out much about it. It is in really great shape. Body has no ding - 1 small ding on the neck - electronics work great - neck straight and plays well - trem in great shape and very cool. There are no markings in it at all - except "made in Japan" in the neck plate. The body looks like 1 listed on ebay as a "Sekova" but my neck is different. Mine looks like a fender strat style headstock - but again no markings. Any thoughts on this axe - not looking to sell just wondering what I have. Thanks and link below to a couple of pics

I sold a guitar like yours a couple of years ago and never figured out exactly what it was. Best I could tell it was built by Kawai in the early 1970's.

Here is a picture and description of the guitar I sold. Second guitar down the list.



Here's one on eBay marked Sekova which doesn't tell us who made it but does let us know this particular guitar was imported by U.S. Musical.

You might get a kick out of story when I purchased the guitar. The guy advertised on Craigslist for his yard sale just listing electric guitar and amp. Just happened to be in his area so I stopped by. Didn't see the guitar or amp and figured he had already sold it. Was about to leave but stopped and asked him - "oh I haven't had a chance to bring it out. I'll go get it - I'd like $20 for the guitar and you can have the amp I just want it gone". He brings out the guitar and its in this ugly,beat-up no padding gig bag and I'm thinking Oh this is gonna be good. Out comes this pristine no-name. I gave him $20 and he goes and gets the amp. Out comes this monster 4-channel 115 watt keyboard amp with a 15 in speaker. All it needed was a fuse - it barely fit in the SUV. A friend of mine who just opened a little guitar shop is taking a look at it but initially said it might only need a couple of new input jacks

$20 for the guitar and a free amp - good yard sale day. So the finds may be few/far between but still out there
