			It really depends on what you're looking for in a guitar.
BE AWARE that the violin-style piece is HEAVILY modified... no way on earth are the pickups original... and since Teisco/Kawai RARELY used three-position selectors (in favor of kill/rockers-switches), I would suspect that the wiring harness and pickguard are not original either.  Finally the bridge, while a vast improvement over what was originally supplied on these, may not be original either; furthermore, if it is a modern replacement, it may be the incorrect width for the neck, causing your strings to potentially rest too close to the edges for comfort.
If you want a PLAYER'S piece, not a collector's piece, I'd say go with the violin; even cheaper modern pickups are more stable that those with which this piece would have originally been equipped.
