So I got this guitar off craigslist for $20. It has no logo, but my research has told me that it has all of the attributes of a Teisco (as the pic will show). Also, it has a tag that sez "MODEL NO. E-100" AND "SERIAL NO 102920" plus a small tag that sez "Made in Taiwan".
It is very similar to the "tulip" style E-100 - minus a teisco badge, no flowery vines, and the upper horn is more "SG" like, but the lower is tulip like, AND the lower strap button is offset, indented and contoured. Other than all of that, it's a tulip E-100.
Methinks it's an early '70s variation after the end of the Teisco name brand, but - i dunno. I can't find any info on a Teisco factory in Taiwan.
Fender style headstock, ashtray tailpiece cover, single pick-up, black/white/black oreo sandwich, black pick shield, dot inlays, zero fret, white nylon bushings on tuner pegs...
Hope that helps - Thanks
